Which one now?

Well today my remaining wage has been paid, so I’m thinking to buy something for my old computer. Three things that I wish to have are either an LCD monitor, printer with scanner and an external HDD.
Why LCD monitor?
When the time comes this old monitor will flicker and distort like madness fro time to tome, which really hurts my eyes. Even if I nudge it or slap it, the problem still persist and I have to get over with it.

Why printer + scanner?
Artwork revival, I want to scan some of my old artwork so I have a backup of it in a digital format. Besides I’m practicing to regain my lost art skill.
Why External HDD?
There are tons of files which I have kept in my PC HDD and its getting crowded. burning into a DVD does not help me much because of delay in read/write time it consume; besides limited storage capacity. Believe me or not, I use 3 HDD at a time on my PC.
I put aside one more option, that is buying a totally new PC system to replace my 6 year old PC… too pricey. My old PC could still manage basic needs but not for gaming anymore; some of my motherboard port is damaged beyond repair. I hope it could still work until I get a new replacement in the future.
Hmm, what do you think I should buy?
