Stuck on you
Welcome to another edition of Music Monday, so last week I featured a song from Thailand which a few of my fellow readers enjoyed listening and gave a positive feedback (thank you so much ^_^). For this edition we fly far east to Japan… I present to you Yuna Ito.
I knew her for the first time in 2006 when I was watching Nana, the film adaptation of Ai Yazawa’s popular manga series by the same name. In that movie, she portrayed Reira Serizawa, the vocalist for a rock bandcalled Trapnest. I quickly fell in love with her voice when she performed the song Endless Story in that movie. That grew my interest to search more about her on the internet, she have an official website here, yunaweb.net
Yuna Ito was actually born in Los Angeles, with a mix parentage of Japanese father and a Korean-American mother. They moved to Oahu, Hawaii some time later after that. Her singing inspiration is Celine Dion, ever since that time she always wanted to be a singer. The year 2005 marks Yuna Ito’s days as a singer in Japan, with her debut single Endless Story. She produced 3 studio albums and 1 compilation to date.

Me and my friend Naz have a celebrity crush on her, for this song we call her “Yuna manja” (Affectionate Yuna) because of her music video, watch here. Can’t take my eyes off wheh watching the video. The song continues to be one of my favourite, and of top of that.. she is so damn cute, I can feel very very lucky if she sings Stuck on You song personally to me. I wish to get her autographed poster or a single CD or maybe a fansign? Hmm, I’ll send that request via her fan-mail.
