Rungitom picks: Movies to watch 2015

We got a lineup of great movies coming up in the year 2015, and most of us are really looking forward to watch it too. Anyway, here’s my own pick of what movies I look forward to watch this year,

Chappie (March 6, 2015)

From the creators of District 9 and Elysium, comes another futuristic movie called Chappie. I’m attracted to this movie just because of Chappie, a robot that was designed to learn and feel, caught in the human conflict as well as its own. I like District 9 and Elysium, and perhaps this one will be a good movie too.

On the side note, I’m still hoping that Neil Blomkamp (the director) will make District 9 sequel… Its been a very long time.

Furious 7 (April 3, 2015)

Picking up what happened in the ending of Fast & Furious 6 (Han’s death, as first shown in Tokyo Drift), these guy are now going against Ian Shaw. Its been a long ride since the first movie and the loss of Paul Walker (RIP) add more feels to this movie. This is one of the most anticipated movie in 2015 and I really want to watch this on the cinema.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015)

Who doesn’t love some superhero action movie? After the great success of the previous movie, I wonder if they can repeat that with Age of Ultron. Fans expectations are really high since the release of the official trailer.

Be sure to wait for the end credit scene. πŸ˜‰

Mad Max: Fury RoadΒ (May 15, 2015)

80s post apocalyptic movie style and visual has always been fascinating to me, and this movie is a nice example of that. I’m not really a fan of the franchise, but I look forward to see this movie.

Jurassic World (June 12, 2015)

Β I had great childhood memories of watching the first one, but I lost interest on this movie franchise since Jurassic Park 3. I only look forward to this movie because of Chris Pratt’s character leading a pack of raptors…. or so I think it is.. πŸ˜›

Terminator: Genisys (July 1, 2015)

Β “I’ll be back!” Classic.

A sequel, prequel, and reboot to the ever popular movie franchise, The Terminator. You can reminisce back the first movie in this one, along with the new twist of story that brings 2 different T-800 in one timeline.

Ant-Man (July 17, 2015)

Β Yet another Marvel superhero movie, I’m not familiar with Ant-Man, but this shrinking size idea reminds me of the classic Honey I shrunk the Kids. A must watch for Marvel fans out there.

Be sure to wait for the end credit scene. πŸ˜‰

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015)

After 10 years of since the last movie (Episode III: Revenge of the Sith), we finally get a new Star Wars movie sequel! The Force Awakens is set 30 years after the events from Return of the Jedi (Episode VI), and we will see returning characters and new ones too.

Up to the time I’m writing this, only the teaser trailer are officially published. Full trailer will be published soon leading up to the show date.

And there you have it, movies I really look forward to watch this year, I have a little poll here to vote which movie you are really looking forward to watch. Vote your most favourite, or comment which film you look forward to watch but not in my list. πŸ™‚
