Guys, what would you do if a random woman comes up to you and say “Kiss me“? Hehehe…
Anyway, today’s topic is not about kissing, rather its Music Monday, and this week’s featured song is Sixpence None The Richer – Kiss Me. Its both nostalgic and memorable song to me.
I remember using my Aiwa Radio Cassette Player to actually record the music to a cassette via NTV7 Music Video segment, many years back. I was so picky on the sound quality, that I re-recorded it many times just to get the best sound.
In time, I get to know different versions of the song which is the Acoustic version and also the Japanese version. I’m loving both of them, been listening to this song since early morning, helping me going through the work I’ve been doing.
Sixpence None The Richer – Kiss Me
Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.
Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon’s sparkling
So kiss me
Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map
How was your Monday so far? 🙂
