This thing came up when I asked Alvin Tan, Xpax Brand Manager, who is also present on the launch day, about the bandwidth limitation when subscribing to the free internet. Mr. Alvin replied that there is no bandwidth limit within those Free Internet period, although they do put some restriction in terms of tethering and torrenting.

So you have 10 minutes (up to 3 sessions per day) of free, no bandwidth capping, surf and stream to your heart’s content.

Customers can claim the daily 10 free games at Celcom’s portal,, there are plethora of games waiting to be enjoyed by customers. As for 10 seconds free calls, this can be made within Celcom’s network only, calling to other other networks will be charged accordingly. 10 second call may not much, but its great for a brief calls made day by day.

Testing IOX

Before the product launch started, each of the members of the media are given the prepaid to test out the new package. I got myself one, but I have to modify the simcard to fit my Note 2 smartphone. I’ve tested out #hotlink before, and now I am eager to test out IOX and see it for myself, how it performs and the coverage at my home. I will blog about it sometime soon.

If you have already tested out IOX before, how do you feel about this new prepaid pack? 🙂

      Hi Akane,

I haven’t tested out recently because I use DiGi as my main line. Perhaps they have already changed the package or replaced with a new one.
