Enter Hungry People, a new lifestyle eatery situated in Lintas Plaza, Lintas, which is pretty much near my workplace is. This newly opened place serves a combination of dishes that suits different people’s appetite, and that night, me including fellow blogger Hayden, Vincent Wang (Chief Editor of yottacity.com) and everydayilovefood.co team chose to try out these dishes.
First up, Pepper Lamb Shank (RM45.90)
So this is a lamb shank, feels like taking it by hand and eat it all the way to the bone. Just nice for me, but what I love comes up next…
Char Grilled Rib Eve Steak (RM34.90)
My eyes are glued to this one, I just love steak, and you can ask the chef how you would like it to be cooked, rare, medium rare or well done. Potatoes and carrots are just for shows though
To the fish department, we have Pan Fried Salmon (RM29.90)
I rarely get to eat salmon and if I do, I got to eat one of the best so far. When they say fried, it doesn’t mean it was friesd to crisp, it was fried just right for me to savor the real salmon taste. This is a great dish for salmon dish lovers.
Oh yes, I did say a combination right? Apart from Western dishes, Hungry People also serve some Indonesia dishes like this one, Ayam Penyet Special (RM16.90)
The spice level is just right for me, I like how the cook the chicken, just nice and tender. If you have tasted ayam penyet elsewhere in KK, you really must try this one.
And if you are not into Ayam Penyet, I really recommend you to try this one, Nasi Bojari (RM21.90)
The main attraction of this dish is the rice, the added dried shimp bits really amps up the the rice flavor. Also, to compliment the rice, taste the tender and juicy chicken grilled to perfection. Double thumbs up for this heavenly combination.
Have Gado-Gado (RM11.90) while you are still at it,
The gravy tasted like rojak gravy, so much goodness, that this dish was wiped cleaned in an instant.
All this while, mushroom soup has been the same for me, but not this one,
I can honestly say Hungry People’s Creamy Mushroom Soup (RM10.90) is the best mushroom soup I ever tasted. I need more bread to have this soup with!
Hungry People has been quite popular because their rice series, especially when its lunch time. If you are dropping by for lunch, do try one of these rice series, Kung Pow Chicken, Ginger Beef, Ginger Fish, Tauchu Fish, Coconut Dory, and Sweet & Sour Fish.
It was great to meet up with the team (everydayfoodilove.co) and have a great start for a foodie blogging, I also learned some photography skills along the way. I now add a new category in my blog, called Foodie Adventure. There will be another foodie adventure blog entry coming up, stay tuned.
