Last week, I was asked about what was that I always dreamed of to be as a kid. It is still relevant today? I guess no. I dream of becoming a scientist when I was a kid, it was a direct influence from the movie Back To The Future. Inventing stuff got me so excited that I started to collect things and making new stuff out of them.

Years after that, I began to love arts and creative stuff because of one dream I had. I developed my skills along the way, eventually made it to the golden age of drawing in 2000 – 2004. I eventually stopped it when I got into college, now, struggling to learn back all that I had left.

Photography, traveling, and music came in after that, inspired by many things that I encountered in my life. So much things that I like, but I didn’t make the time to organize and learn it all. Then I discovered this on zenpencils.com about Chris Hadfield.

Chris Hadfield  is a Canadian astronaut currently on assignment aboard the International Space Station (ISS). He became an Internet-celebrity, using social media and YouTube to share what daily life is like aboard the space station.

As for me, time to really wake up and make the ultimate master plan.

Once again, my precious memories are now close to eradication. In the pic is my external harddisk which I kept all my photos from my college days until last year. the sudden failure reminds me of a previous loss happened years ago.

I feel so disheartened by this. All my life works, photos, some documents would eventually be lost forever, again. I tried everything I can to restore and even backing up the lost files, but nothing works.

I can’t help wondering what did I do to deserve this loss? As a guy who doesn’t own much in this world. Those photos especially, means a lot to me.

The month of April was the time I get sick often, thus hampering my work performance throughout the month. I’m feeling well right now, but I have to be more cautious as my health can easily go to worse if I’m careless. The first big thing that I invested was my glasses, after a few months since last year, I decided to buy a new pair. I really love how lightweight and simplistic my new glasses now, like I said before, my morning is not complete without wearing it.

My 30 Day Art Challenge was not complete in the month of April, nonetheless, I will continue on drawing until I finished all of the challenges, that is all that matters now. I still got a half of month worth of artworks to be finished.

This year is the second year that I’ve been to Semporna for Regatta Lepa. From that event, I made friend with Anita, a lady from Netherlands/Holland. She is one of the many tourists that came to Semporna to experience the colorful and culturally unique celebration on the east coast of Sabah. Its business as usual at Semporna, its still feel the same like last year.

Me and Anita enjoyed much throughout the event, we parted ways in the end but still keeping in touch via social network for now.

I also had the opportunity to meet Janrywine and Brenda Londoh up close for the first time during Sabah Fest 2013 press conference. Sabah Fest can be considered as the opening act for Sabah’s festive Kaamatan celebration in the month of May. They always bring spectacular cultural and musical show, a must watch event every year.
