Cock & Bull Restaurant at Jesselton Point

Back in Tuesday last week, I had another foodie adventure at Cock & Bull Restaurant near Jesselton Point, me with a few blogger buddies, Calista, Sherrie, Margaret and Dinoza went to this establishment for a food review.

The restaurant is located near to the Jesselton Point Waterfront ferry terminal, making it the
perfect place to go, whether you are back after an island trip or just to come by and chill with your friends.

This restaurant is popular among tourists to dine and try local dishes, the strategic location of the restaurant makes it so easy to find.

The interior is cozy and spacious with coolen air, equipped with Wi-Fi, with walls decorated with beautiful paintings.

The restaurant is able to accommodate up to 60 people at a time and is available to be booked for functions and special events. They also provide outside caterings for social gatherings.

Cock & Bull Restaurant: the cuisine fusion

You can choose a plethora of Western and Asian cuisines here, here are the cuisines that are included in our food review session that day,

Cock & Bull Caesar Salad,  RM12.50

Romaine lettuce, croutons and parmesan cheese, with homemade caesar dressing and beef bacon. Choice of additional toppings available (chicken, hard-boiled egg, tuna, prawn, cheese at RM3.50/topping)

Norwegian Salmon, RM33.50

Pan fried grilled salmon on mashed potato, with green salad and lemon dill sauce. I love the sauce, it goes well with the already delicious salmon.

Spaghetti Bolognaise, RM18.50

Spaghetti with a hearty portion of bolognaise, in which I love the most. Patrons cal also choose Aglio Olio, RM15.50 or Carbonara, RM18.50.

Beef Rendang, RM18.50

On of the signature cuisines in Malaysia, a must try for visitors. The well marinated beef cubes, cooked with grated coconut, usually served with steamed rice and papadum crackers.

Pizza (Seafood), RM15.50 for 8″, RM28.00 for 12″ size

You can also order different toppings such as Margherita (RM12.50 for 8″, RM25.00 for 12″ size), Vegetarian (RM13.50 for 8″, RM25.00 for 12″ size), and Hawaiian (RM14.50 for 8″, RM26.00 for 12″ size)

Sheperd’s Pie, RM18.50

A dish rich with succulent lamb, mashed potatoes, and cheese layer at the top, plus salad. This is Calista’s favourite. The cheese layer on top is so delicious, combined together with the lamb and mashed potato, making it a great dish.

Pan Fried Cajun Tuna, RM23.50

Great dish for tuna lovers, tuna fillet pan fried with cajun spice, tomato salsa, lime and mashed potato.

Singapore Fried Mee Hoon, RM9.50

Well, we finished up this dish too quick, a definite sign that we love it!

Its a combination of 3 different meats, grilled lamb, chicken and fish on cilantro mashed potato served with dressed green salad. You have the choice of individual sauce for each grill (mint, mushroom, lemon dill)

Pink Lemonade, RM4.00

Its definitely a refreshing drink, lemonade with cherry flavour at the bottom, I don’t mind taking a second order for this.

Cock & Bull Restaurant: visiting the Waterfront

After we finished our food review session, we head down to another Cock & Bull outlet at the waterfront just to have a look.

If you love to chill in the open air with some beers here in Jesselton Point, then this is the place to be. Its situated just near the Bunga Raya Resort office, you won’t miss it.

In conclusion, Cock & Bull Restaurant is the place to be, to rest and unwind after an island trip or just chilling while having a sumptuous meal. And because of its strategic location, you simply cannot miss this place.
